Just like on Star Trek, all good things must come to an end: I’ve taken down the Work in Comics survey.
It’s been an interesting three months to say the least. We received a total of 570 complete surveys, and 265 people have volunteered for follow-up interviews. Now I shall retreat to my Fortress of Solitude to process the results and see what they can tell us about the people who make comics and the conditions under which they do it.
But, before I go, let me take a moment to thank all of you who took the time to do the survey and helped spread the word. In addition to all you wonderful twitterers and facebookers, I’d particularly like to thank Tom Spurgeon, Comics Forum, The Mary Sue, The Beat, Comics Alliance, and The Comics Journal for linking to the project.
